Enchanting Castel Gandolfo: A day in the picturesque village with breathtaking views of the volcanic lake

We will visit the enchanting village of Castel Gandolfo with its Vatican Gardens and Organic Farm, its Apostolic Palace, its unique views of the lake, and its artists and artisans. We will have lunch at a typical restaurant with zero-mile products and visit the characteristic caves of the village. Then, we will go down to the lake to have a naturalistic and cultural boat tour and we will learn about the volcanic, archaeological and historical aspects of the beautiful area.

Tour of the 2 volcanic lakes and villages: Castel Gandolfo and Nemi

We will visit the beautiful village of Castel Gandolfo with its Vatican Gardens, the Apostolic Palace, and its breathtaking views of the lake.  Then we will meet its artists and artisans. Afterwards, we will visit the Albano Lake of Castel Gandolfo and we will have a naturalistic tour by boat. Then, we will move to Lake Nemi to have a tasty lunch with local fish and other products. Afterwards, we will visit the Antique Roman Ships Museum as well as an organic farm with breathtaking views of the lake. Here, we will venture into a small Myths Itinerary. Finally, we will visit the village of Nemi and taste its wild strawberries.

1-day Experiential Tour to the organic/ecological wineries and vineyards of the Roman Castles

We will visit 3 or 4 wineries with tastings of their own organic wine and olive oil accompanied by products of the Castelli Romani area. We will get to know the volcanic aspects of the territory that affect the production of wine as well as the processing and bottling phases of a cellar with low/zero environmental impact. We will have lunch in the restaurant of the latter or in a beautiful private park of one of the vineyards.

1-day tour of the ancient villages of Genzano and Ariccia with Show Cooking and visit to Palazzo and Parco Chigi

We will go to Genzano to visit its historic Palazzo Sforza Cesarini , its famous Infiorata street, and we will have a cooking show experience of the famous Genzano bread. Afterwards, we will visit Ariccia where we will have lunch in one of its typical ‘fraschette’ and we will visit the beautiful Palazzo Chigi with its Park.
